| The West Point Society of Los Angeles cordially invites you to the 2008 Founder’s Day Brunch. Please join us as we celebrate patriots of exceptional service, past, present and future with our theme: “"Every generation has its heroes. This one is no different."
This year’s event features an unprecedented speaker line-up that you will not want to miss!
LTG Franklin L. “Buster” Hagenbeck, Superintendent, United States Military Academy, will be headlining our agenda and providing insights on how West Point is successfully shaping the officer-leaders of tomorrow.
We will also be honored by the attendance of COL (retired) Jack Jacobs, aMedal of Honor recipient for his actions in Vietnam and adjunct professor at West Point (Social Sciences Dept). Jack will share his past experiences and the values we all cherish.
To better appreciate the sacrifices of our Soldiers today, a recently returned leader from the Global War on Terror will provide commentary on selfless service from the battlefront.
And, finally, the “Youngest” and “Oldest” grads will provide their unique perspectives on the unbroken chain that is the Long Gray Line. View photos from Founders Day 2008 here. |
